This flow diagram briefly and pictorially shows the Registration Process.
The customer requests a quotation from QAIC.
The customer submits application to QAIC for review. Standard Number and Scope of registration are critical. QAIC assigns a lead auditor.
QAIC will provide a one day presentation of the registration process, and review and discuss the appropriate ISO 9000 standard.
QAIC will perform a practice registration assessment. This will allow a company to judge how close it is to being compliant. This assessment has no official effect on the outcome of registration process.
QAIC Performs a one day review of the customer's Quality Manual to determine compliance to the standard. The customer received a detailed report.
QAIC performs a one day on-site visit to verify other documentation (procedures, work instruction, etc.) needed to demonstrate compliance to the standard. QAIC answers any questions about its registration and performs a walk through assessment. QAIC judges if the customer is ready for the registration assessment. The customer receives a detailed report of the status of Quality Manual issues and any new findings from this visit.
